"I remember the first notes at the Chopin Competition as a sensation never experienced before: the excitement of finding myself in the situation I had dreamed of for years, but also the terror of disappointing my expectations. I played the entire first song with trembling hands and feet, I was struggling to keep the pedal down!"
Entering the “world of the adults” for me happened thanks to an experience: the Chopin Competition in Warsaw, in 2010. Suddenly abandoning the reality I was used to, I found myself catapulted into a gigantic and exciting world, made of music at very high levels, comparisons with great artists, monumental rooms, televisions everywhere and exhausting rhythms of study and competition. Many special and unforgettable emotions but also the awareness of no longer being the child prodigy to whom everything could be forgiven.
